Hon.President Shri Pranab Mukherjee Presented Teachers National Award 2014 To Manoj Kotakkal The President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee presenting the National Award for Teachers-2014 to Sri Manoj KP, PD Teacher GMUP School Kottakkal, Malappuram dist, Kerala on the occasion of the ‘Teachers Day’, in New Delhi on September 05, 2015. The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Smt. Smriti Irani, the Ministers of State for Human Resource Development, Prof. (Dr.) Ram Shankar Katheria and Shri Upendra Kushwaha are also seen. Malappuram Sub Dist won the Hatric with this prestigious award 2012,2013,and now by manoj 2014. This is probably a rarest achievement an educational sub district ever received. He also won Galileo award of state SSA, Best science teacher award, other honours including state first in teaching aid competition. As an astronomer he is well working to develop the scientific attitude among children and public. He is the founder of MAARS (Malappuram amature Astronomers Society) an active astronomy group worked behind Manahekkoru Kilivathil , Galelio Little Scientist Program for SSA . He also established a active group LEARNING TEACHERS for working on teaching aids. Many teachers participates in this program and develops many teaching aids for their own Manoj,a native of Ayur vedic city Kottakkal. residing at Kolathuparamba is the son of Sri M. Damodharan Nair(Late) and Janaki Amma KP .Sunitha k Is his wife Master Rithu Gokul. ,Kumari Vidhu Karthika is his son and daughter . He is now working In GMUP School Kottakkal.
